Emma Watson is Again Committed to Women
Harry Potter actress Emma Watson (29) wants to encourage women to know their rights in the workplace. Emma started a telephone advice line for women who are dealing with sexual harassment at work, The Guardian reports.
“If you understand what your rights are and how you can enforce them, and the choice you have when you experience undesirable behaviour is to create such an essential part of a safe workplace for everyone, and this advice line is a huge development to be there to ensure that all women are supported wherever we work, “the actress said. The advice line has been established by donations from the public, including donations from Watson itself.
The project was set up by the actress and the organization Time’s Up. That organization was set up by more than three hundred actresses, writers and directors in response to the allegations of sexual harassment by film producer Harvey Weinstein.
