Tarzan actor Joe Lara (58) and his wife (66) died in a plane crash
In the TV series Tarzan: The Epic Adventures, Joe Lara was killed in a plane crash near Nashville on Saturday. In addition to the 58-year-old actor, his wife and the five other passengers were also killed. Various American media report this.
The plane, bound for Palm Beach International Airport in Florida, crashed into Percy Priest Lake. Local authorities report that there are no survivors.
San Diego-born Lara is best known for his role as Tarzan in the TV movie Tarzan in Manhattan (1989) and the spin-off series that followed Tarzan: The Epic Adventures (1996 to 1997). He also had roles in action movies such as American Cyborg: Steel Warrior, Steel Frontier and Doomsday.
